Warrigal Red - premium wines from Dingo Creek Vineyard.Dingo Creek Winery has been described as one of the prettiest wineries on the Sunshine Coast and overlooks the majestic Mount Cooroora. "Come to Cooloola" and visit our vineyard. We are located at Traveston in the Sunshine Coast hinterland near Noosa and Gympie in south east Queensland. See our location map for directions.

Over morning tea, the owner, a wine buff from years back will give you an informative lesson on grape growing and ensure that your visit is memorable. You will also be given an opportunity to enjoy wine tasting from our range of premium wines from Dingo Creek Vineyard.

We also hold two annual events for music lovers. In April 2008 we will  staged our Wine, Jazz and Blues Festival featuring  John Morrison, Bob Barnard, John Nicol and other leading musicians. DINGO CREEK WINE, JAZZ AND BLUES FESTIVAL NEWS

On Thursday May 24, 2007, the committee of Dingo Creek Jazz and Blues Inc were very pleased to present SIDS and Kids Qld with a cheque for $21,000 from the proceeds of the  festival held at Dingo Creek Vineyard in April.  We would like to thank all our sponsers, the musicians and visitors to the event for their fantastic support of this vital fundraiser for SIDS and Kids Qld. They are very appreciative of the continued support they receive from the public as they receive no government funding for their very important service to the Queensland people through education, research and bearevment counselling.

The 2008, Dingo Creek Wine Jazz and Blues Festival is benefiting from a $17,500.00 investment under the Queensland Events Regional Development Program (QERDP), a State Government initiative designed to take unique and creative regional events to their full potential.

Since the program began in 2001, over $9.7 million has been invested in more than 370 regional events.

The Festival that is held annually at the Dingo Creek Vineyard at Traveston is set down for the weekend of the26th and 27th of April 2008, this year’s highlight will be a weekend featuring the music of the legendary Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. the cream of Australia’s Jazz and Blues Artists including: 

Gil Askey, Wilma Reading,  John Morrison, Jacki Cooper, Dave Pudney,Paul Furniss, Peter Locke, Bobby Henderson, Ingrid James, John Nicol, and the detachment of the Royal Australian navy band, the ever popular Qld Police Band of Blue  to return in 2008.   The much loved Mason Rack one of Australia’s top Blues performers will also make a return in 2008 along with many other renowned artists.

Marg Gillespie, President of the Dingo Creek Jazz and Blues Festival said “we are grateful for the support shown by Queensland Events which will go a long way to ensuring the Festival is an even bigger success in 2008”.


 Qld Governmant Gambling Community Benefit Fund.

Support for 2008 Dingo Creek Wine Jazz and Blues fest. In December 2007 the Queensland Government's Gambling Community Benefit Fund provided $16,045.00 to Dingo Creek Jazz and Blues Inc for the purchase of a tandum trailer, tanks and sides for  the marquee.   These   items will assist greatly in the organisation of the festival and the sides of the marquee will  add to the value ofthe marquee to us and the communitee as a whole. . Marg Gillespie President of the Association said the funding is greatly appreciated and shows the confidence the GCBF has in the event.

ERNIE DINGO AND THE GREAT OUTDOORS AT DINGO CREEK VINEYARD

Be watching the Great Outdoors on May the 1st 2006 at 7.30pm on Channel Seven for Ernie Dingo’s segment at Dingo Creek Vineyard.

Ernie was visiting a number of locations in Noosa and the Hinterland to promote the great diversity of boutique food and wine producers and outlets.  The day was great fun we all enjoyed Ernie’s great sense of humour.
