Dingo Creek Vineyard
Facilities
Cellar Door
On
arrival at Dingo Creek Vineyard you will notice the cellar
door that has been built in keeping with the Traveston area's rich gold and timber
heritage.
Having been built out of mixed hard wood it reflects the early
architecture with shiplap walls of vertical timber and pole formation.
The
bar has been constructed out of corrugated iron with a local blue gum slab as a bar top.
We will guide you through our range of boutique wines and Liqueurs including
our very popular Honey Mead, in a relaxed and informed atmosphere, helping to make your
experience at Dingo Creek a memorable one.
The Deck
The expansive
deck is covered and able to seat 60 for functions, from weddings to Christmas parties.
Informal gatherings are also catered for with beer and spirits also available to purchase
along with Dingo Creek Vineyards wine.

A large
area surrounding the cellar door enables large events to be held in comfort such as the
Wine Jazz and Blues festival held each year and the Opera in the Vineyard. We welcome other organisations to
hold fundraising events at the vineyard.
Vineyard
If you are a wine and nature lover Dingo Creek
Vineyard is for you.
Set in a natural setting the vineyard has been planted
with Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc. The first vines were
planted in 1997 and the cellar door facility was opened in 2000. David takes care of the
viticultural side of the vineyard but when it comes to vintage it is one in all in and
the whole family gets involved.
We are very aware of the importance of using
ecologically sustainable viticultural practices in the vineyard, by being aware of this
we believe we are ensuring the continued viability of our land, not just for ourselves
but also for future generations to come.
The vineyard and cellar door area is
very popular for wedding photo's and family portraits. |
