The band consists of Kath Williams – sax/vocals; John Murray – trombone/vocals; John Withers – trumpet/guitar banjo; Col Hindson – keyboard; Aaron Giffin – guitar; Wayne Carlson – drums; Mike Hutcheson – bass and last but certainly not least, the Mayor of the Sunshine Coast Regional Council – Bob Abbot, who plays harp and vocals. Some of these artists have played with or supported major names in the jazz and blues music world over many decades. All are Sunshine Coast residents, who through their love of music, have gravitated together to produce an entertaining session of blues for your enjoyment.
